AI For Business
Two-Day Training Course

Practical AI adoption and process automation training for South African teams - no coding required, hands-on from hour one.

Practical AI Skills, Not Theory

Companies that learn to apply AI well are cutting hours of manual work per employee per week, responding to customers faster, and making better decisions with the same headcount.

Artificial intelligence has moved from research labs into everyday business tools. This two-day intensive course gives your team the practical skills to apply it - no coding required. Roughly half of course time is hands-on: every participant works with AI tools on their own laptop, applies a repeatable prompt framework, and builds a real no-code automation using a process from their own job. Delivered in Johannesburg, Sandton, or on-site anywhere in South Africa. This training pairs naturally with our AI consulting service - train your team here, then have us help implement what they've learned.

Groups of 6–16 participants get the best mix of pace and individual facilitator attention. The course can be delivered at your premises in Johannesburg, Sandton, Cape Town, or run remotely for distributed teams.

Prerequisites & What to Bring

  • A laptop with a modern browser and internet access
  • Free accounts created in advance for an AI assistant (ChatGPT or Claude) and an automation platform (Zapier or Make) - sign-up instructions sent with your joining pack
  • One real business process from your own work that feels repetitive or time-consuming - you'll automate or improve it during the course
  • No programming knowledge is required at any point

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the AI For Business training course.

Do we need any technical background?
No. This course is designed for business owners, managers and staff with no coding or IT background. Every exercise is done through a browser, using plain-English instructions.
Can this be run onsite in Johannesburg or Cape Town?
Yes. We deliver this course at your premises anywhere in South Africa, at our training venue in Sandton, or remotely for distributed teams. Onsite delivery lets us customise Module 4's use cases to your specific industry.
How many people can attend?
We recommend groups of 6 to 16 participants for the best balance of pace and hands-on facilitator support. Larger groups can be accommodated with additional facilitators.
Can the course be customised for our industry?
Yes. Module 4's use-case walkthrough is adapted to your sector - retail, professional services, manufacturing or healthcare - based on a short pre-course discovery call. Executive audiences can also request an expanded strategy discussion in Modules 1, 9 and 10.
What's the difference between this course and your AI consulting service?
Training teaches your team to use AI tools and build simple automations themselves. AI consulting is a hands-on engagement where Openbyte selects tools, builds automations and sets up governance for you. Many clients run this course first, then follow up with a consulting engagement to implement what the team learned.
What happens after the course?
You receive a Day 7 email with the shared prompt library and a first-win survey, a Day 30 group video call to review roadmap progress, and a Day 90 ROI review offer to help quantify what the training has delivered.
